Pine Island Realty Merges with John R. Wood Properties
Phil Wood, Chairman and CEO of John R. Wood Properties, today announced the acquisition of Bokeelia-based Pine Island Realty, the island’s leading residential real estate firm. The deal became official on Friday, April 1. In business since 1980, Pine Island Realty and its team of approximately 12 agents represent more than $100 million in residential transactions annually in Bokeelia, St. James City, Matlacha and Cape Coral. In addition to company staff and real estate agents, owners Mike Faulkner and Brian Faulkner have joined John R. Wood Properties and will remain active as vice presidents within the company. Two sales offices, at 5400 Pine Island Rd. in Bokeelia and 2959 Oleander St. in St. James City, are relocating to the offices of John R. Wood Properties, bringing the company to 21 locations throughout the Southwest from Florida.

Seagate Development Group announces the addition of Michelle Mizzoni as corporate controller. She will oversee and manage all accounting and financial functions of the company. Originally from New England, Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New Hampshire College. She most recently worked as a corporate financial controller for Alder Partners, LLC, a Planet Fitness franchise, in Massachusetts. Prior to that, Ella Michelle spent more than six years as a corporate financial controller for Cheer Pack North America, LLC, where she implemented cost savings and loan management programs, as well as asset management software.
