All the destinations UK travelers can visit without the need for a Covid test or vaccine

There are a number of countries UK travelers can now visit without taking a Covid test before departure. But for thousands of vacationers, Spain is not on the list.

The nation has made a quick U-turn on earlier changes that indicated it had eased restrictions just in time for the Easter holidays. But, just hours after the announcement, travelers were told that the information provided was incorrect due to a misinterpretation of the official state gazette, LiverpoolECHO reports.

All visitors to the UK aged 12 and over are still required to show proof of being fully vaccinated or a certificate of recovery (dated no more than 180 days prior). The only exception is those between 12 and 17 years old (both included) who may give a negative result in a Covid test (PCR or similar) carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain.

However, there are currently 21 countries where UK citizens can visit without the need to be fully vaccinated or tested before arrival. However, some of these places may not be on everyone’s list of resorts for the vacation of a lifetime.

These are the destinations open to visitors without having to prove they are vaccinated or have taken a test, according to the UK Foreign Office.

Ireland

Visitors to the UK do not need to show any proof of vaccination, proof of recovery, proof of negative test or receipt of the Irish Passenger Locator Form. There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements to travel to Ireland.
